1. Who We Are

DebTrack is operated by DivData Technologies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the DebTrack mobile application and website at debtrack.in.

DebTrack is a personal finance tool for individuals in India. You enter your own loan and EMI data into the app. When you use the "Apply a Loan" feature, you provide information that may be shared with lending partners to process your enquiry.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, mobile number
  • Loan Data: Loan amounts, EMI details, bank names, tenure, interest rates (entered manually by you)
  • Loan Application Data: When you use the "Apply a Loan" feature, we collect your Name, Loan Amount, and Mobile Number to process your loan enquiry
  • Profile Information: Optional profile photo, display name preferences

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Device type, OS version, unique device identifiers
  • Usage Data: App interaction patterns, feature usage, screen views
  • Log Data: Crash reports, error logs, performance metrics

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Provide and maintain the DebTrack service
  • Display your consolidated loan dashboard
  • Send EMI reminders and payment notifications
  • Generate repayment progress reports
  • Improve app performance and user experience
  • Communicate important service updates
  • Ensure security and prevent fraud
  • Process loan enquiries submitted through the "Apply a Loan" feature and share your application data (Name, Loan Amount, Mobile Number) with our partner lending institutions
  • Contact you regarding the status of your loan application via in App -> Profile -> My Applications, call, SMS, or WhatsApp
We do NOT use your data for: Credit scoring, targeted advertising, or selling to third parties. Data collected via the "Apply a Loan" feature is shared only with our verified lending partners for the sole purpose of processing your loan enquiry. Your data stays yours.

4. Data Storage & Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption in Transit: All communications use TLS 1.3 encryption
  • Encryption at Rest: Sensitive data is encrypted using AES-256
  • Access Controls: Strict role-based access controls for internal systems

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Loan Application Processing: When you submit a loan application through the "Apply a Loan" feature, your Name, Loan Amount, and Mobile Number are shared with our partner lending institutions (banks, NBFCs, and other licensed lenders) solely for the purpose of processing your loan enquiry. By submitting the application, you explicitly consent to this sharing
  • Service Providers: Trusted third-party services that help us operate (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics), bound by strict confidentiality agreements
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
  • Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of DivData Technologies, our users, or the public
Loan Application Data: Information submitted via the "Apply a Loan" feature is shared with verified lending partners who are governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing their policies before proceeding with any loan offer. DebTrack is not responsible for the data practices of partner lending institutions after your data has been shared.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export: Download your loan data in a portable format

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon account deletion:

  • Personal data is deleted within 30 days
  • Anonymized analytics data may be retained for service improvement

8. Cookies & Tracking

The DebTrack mobile app does not use browser cookies. We use minimal analytics tools to understand usage patterns and improve the app experience. You can opt out of analytics through the app settings.

9. Children's Privacy

DebTrack is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
